Chocolate and Banana Fondue

Ingredients

7oz/200g good dark chocolate
150ml/ ¼pint double or whipping cream
2-3tbsp. golden syrup or light soft brown sugar
4 small bananas, cut into medium slices
4oz/110g whole strawberries, washed
Other fruits to taste

Method

Preparation Time: 5 minutes

Cooking Time: 5 minutes

Serves: 4

  1. Place the chocolate, cream and syrup in a small - medium pan and heat through gently until quite smooth. Keep warm but do not let it boil.
  2. Prepare the fruits and serve in small bowls with the hot chocolate fondue and small cocktail sticks or tiny forks.
